Know Your Number

Know Your Number is a foundational course and is the first step in working with the Enneagram.  In this workshop, Suzanne Stabile introduces the nine Enneagram Types:

Challenger,  Peacemaker, Perfectionist,

Helper,  Performer,  Romantic,

Investigator,  Loyalist, Enthusiast,

Each personality type is reviewed in detail, including an evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of the Types, and the likely interpersonal challenges that may be involved in an unhealthy expression of the Type.  This workshop is intended for those who want to discover their Enneagram number or are still unsure about their Enneagram number.

I am interested in attending this workshop. I would be coming from San Antonio and would fly. Are there any arrangements for transportation from the airport? I am a retired pastor (30 years) and feel I need something to stimulate my spiritual walk. I would also need to find a hotel close by. Could you please send me any information that would be helpful. I would do this with the intention of possibly helping those I minister to.

I just reread my comment. I would like to clarify by telling you I am doing this first of all for my self. Having said that, I have a ministry called, The Chancel which is a ministry of Christian Discipleship. Because of this, I continue to minister into my retirement years. I feel that by doing it first for myself, I would then want to take advanced classes and work with the people God sends my way. I am including my website but need to tell you I haven’t done anything with it for several years.

It sounds like the enneagram is exactly what you are looking for! Here is some hotel information:

If you have any other questions, or need help, let us know. It will be a great weekend and workshop!

      • Patricia Bailey says:

I didn’t get the hotel information or information about the distance from the airport to the ministry facility. Could you please respond by email asap? Thanks.

I would love to attend this class. But currently with back school shopping having to be done for my kids, I can’t afford $99 for the class. I didn’t know if there might be any assistance programs I could apply for cost assistance.

  4. Amy says:

I am very interested in the class but cannot make the Friday night gathering. Is it okay to register and attend Saturday only? Thanks you.

  5. Patricia Bailey says:

Hi Joel, I contacted the Lumen about the $209.00 rate and they said they didn’t have the company listed and couldn’t give me that rate. Whose name would it be under to the the reduced price? Thanks for your help. Trying to get all the arrangements before I register. Pat Bailey

  6. Brenda Stone says:

I have taken the video class 2 times and loved it. It has been so helpful. The weekend of this class may not work for me. Are there others coming up in Texas? Thanks!!

  7. Susan Long says:

My husband and I plan to attend. Is KidCare being offered for Saturday? I have a sitter for Friday night and am working on one for Saturday, but just curious.

  8. Joyce Shoop says:

I just registered for the HPUMC Workshop Aug 18-19, and already have The Road Back to You & the Study Guide. I have read the book, but haven’t worked through the study guide. Would it be helpful for me to do that before coming to the workshop? I purchased both at the HPUMC Women’s Retreat in Feb., but had to leave early, so didn’t get the full presentation of all the numbers–I think I left with about 2 more to go!! Also, the Room number was not listed– will you be sending that information? Thanks, Joyce

  9. Amanda K. says:

Woukd love some info on lodging in the Highland Park area! Also, is space limited and filling up quickly! Woukd love to make it! Thanks! 😉

    • Joel Stabile says:

Space IS filling up, but there is still room!! There are a lot of options near the venue, here are a few that we have found: The Magnolia, The Lumen, and The Highlands by Dallas. They are very close to the HPUMC and SMU campus. Anything close to I-75 and Mockingbird could be right for you.

  10. Geri Cope says:

I am driving in from Shreveport for Friday’s 530 class, Know Your Number. I need hotel suggestions:
One that is close to campus and another for the most economical I have not read the course books. I’ve been reading Enneagram by some other authors that I sought out before I knew about your program in Dallas. Should I order the book ahead of time?

    • Joel Stabile says:

      Hey Geri!
I know concerning the proximity: The Lumen, The Highland Dallas, and The Magnolia are all incredibly close. There is also a La Quinta about 2 miles away. I will do some research into prices for that weekend and post them in the next day or two.

  11. Deborah Hawks says:

Just read about the Enneagram workshop on your website. Before I asking members of my small church community if they are interested, want to make sure there is still room available.

    • Joel Stabile says:

There is still room! But less room left in the LA workshop than the Dallas workshop. How many in your community are interested? There are group rates for both locations as well as discounted tickets for the Dallas workshop when purchased in pairs.

  12. Amy Burgher says:

I am so excited for this weekend in Dallas. Would love to have a little more information.
What room will the meeting be held in at HPUMC.?
What time do we end Friday 5:30 – to ? and begin Saturday ? – to 4:00.

    • Carolyn Teel says:

      We are excited too!
The workshop will be held in the Great Hall, and there will be volunteers present to direct you. Friday night will end about 9:30 and get started Saturday morning at 9:00.
