The Enneagram and Anger or Rage ( 8s,9s and 1s)
Sat 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
THis workshop is sold out. Please join us for future Enneagram events! Professionals teach us that "anger" is never the primary emotion. That is certainly true for those who are in the Gut Triad. Their other emotions are easily replaced with the anger that lies just beneath the surface and while it may not be a pleasant feeling it is both easily accessible and familiar. EIGHTs, NINEs and ONEs have intuitive ways of interpreting the world around them and that gift is either lost or misused when they give in to angry responses. EIGHTs are focused on justice, NINEs want peace and ONEs look for order.......this workshop is about elevating those desires while developing appropriate responses to feelings of anger/rage. Suzanne Stabile will be teaching this workshop.
Enneagram Subtypes in Austin
Sat, Sep 06 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
The three Enneagram centers are coordinated with three basic drives: the sex drive, the social impulse and the drive for self-preservation. The Enneagram teaches that all of us, regardless of our specific Enneagram type, are dominated by one of the three basic drives. We can benefit by learning to identify these drives and then control them so they are not destructive to our lives. This course will be particularly helpful to those who have known their number for some time and are ready to learn about themselves at a new and deeper level. ELIGIBLE FOR CEU CREDIT FOR: LMSW, LPC, LMFT
The Enneagram and Fear (5s,6s and 7s)
Sat, Sep 13 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
If we gently scratch the surface just beneath the feelings of FIVES, SIXES and SEVENS we find FEAR. As a culture we are constantly exposed to and then manipulated by by inflated fears. The people in the Mental Triad are particularly sensitive to the news of the day, speculation aout the future and misrepresentation of the past. This workshop will identify ways FIVEs, SIXes and SEVENs can learn to doubt unreasonable fears and engage with those that are valid. It is exhausting when we don't know the difference between the two and all of us are more malleable when we are afraid. It promises to be an important day.
Enneagram, Family Systems Structure and...........
Thu, Sep 25 6:00 PM - Mon, Sep 29 3:00 PM
ENNEAGRAM, FAMILY SYSTEMS STRUCTURE AND ANTAGONISTS BOOT CAMP An Enneagram, Family Systems and Antagonist Boot Camp will be held at the Micah Center September 25th thru 29th. This workshop is intended for those who are leaders in either church, non-profit or private institutions. It is designed to help participants through an undestanding of the age-old personality tool called the Enneagram which allows individuals to see clearly the motivation behind their personal behavior. Such behavior influences ones role of leadership in organized institutions. As we develop a clear understanding of the systems at work in each organization , we enhance a person's ability to lead more effecively. The reality of institutional life is the existence of antagonists who often times can hinder the progress of the organization's goals and purposes. We will learn to recognize antagonists and how to limit the chaos they can cause in institutions. It is our hope that through the teaching, discussions and experiences of prayer and activity, participants will be able to let go of past hurts and move more holistically into the future in their roles of leadership. If you are a pastor, lay leader in a church or part of the administrative staff of a private or non-profit organization, this workshop can postively impact your role of leadership and your effectiveness. This workshop will be led by Suzanne Stabile, Rev. Josph Stabile, Rev. Ann Willet and Courtney Pinkerson.
